Coach of The Year
Sports Power Infrastructure’s Coach of the Year is a grant program designed for recreational and competitive youth and adult sports coaches who power their players and communities—not only in achieving their athletic aspirations but also in their educational, career, leadership, and/or character development. Thanks to the support of our public-private partners committed to local economic, workforce, and community development, Coaches of the Year and Runner-Ups are awarded Sports Power Infrastructure: Sports + Industry Grants ranging from $1,000 to $50,000. Grants will provide support for:
Sports Team-Related Infrastructure: Team uniforms, travel gas cards, tournament or referee fees and practice space rentals.
Player and Family Support: Education, career, leadership, and resilience training for opportunity pathways.
This program empowers coaches to make a lasting impact on athletes and their communities, reinforcing the role of sports in building stronger local economies and opportunities.
