Sports Power Infrastructure All-State Honors for New York and New Jersey Set a New Standard for Student-Athlete Success in Sports, Education and Careers

New York and New Jersey Most student-athletes spend years waiting to be noticed simply for their sports performance. Sports Power Infrastructure™ believes the future belongs to athletes who can measure, verify, and prove their performance not just through speed, strength, and agility, but through their education, career readiness, leadership, communication, and long term potential.

Today, Sports Power Infrastructure™ announced the official launch of the Sports Power Infrastructure All-State Honors for New York and New Jersey student-athletes entering grades 5–12 this September. Powered by the Sports Power Rating™, the platform helps athletes measure, verify, and showcase performance across sports, education, career readiness, and leadership while building visibility for opportunities within and beyond sports.

The All-State Honors platform is open to student-athletes participating in many of America’s most popular youth sports including basketball, football, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, track & field, lacrosse, wrestling, and cheerleading.

The deadline to qualify for the inaugural honors cycle is August 31, with official honors announced in September 2026.

While aspiring to play professionally or compete at the NCAA Division I, II, or III level is the dream for many student-athletes, the reality is the odds are extremely limited. Less than 2% of high school athletes go on to compete at the NCAA Division I level, while only a very small percentage ever play professional sports.

Sports Power Infrastructure™ believes families should approach athlete development the same way elite athletes approach competition. You do not win games by making high risk, low probability plays. You win through preparation, positioning, discipline, and smart decisions.

That philosophy is why the Sports Power Rating™ measures more than athletic ability alone.

Athletes are evaluated across:

  • Speed, Strength & Agility Self Reported 40%
  • Education & Career Readiness 40%
  • Speed, Strength & Agility Verification 20%

Participants complete eight standardized combine drills including the 40 Yard Dash, Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, Pro Agility Shuttle, 3 Cone Drill, 1 Mile Run, Push Ups, and Plank Hold while also completing assessments tied to education, workforce readiness, certifications, leadership, communication, and career development.

Sports Power Infrastructure™ works with public and private schools, recreational leagues, and AAU programs. The organization also works alongside the many sport specific coaches, trainers, and mentors already serving athletes in local communities. The goal is not to replace those efforts, but to complement and elevate them by helping student-athletes and families gain access to more tools, visibility, and long term opportunity.

Student-athletes and their families should have the ability to maximize access to the best possible resources to help prepare and shape their future.

“This is about creating a verified system of record for performance,” said T. Chaney, Managing Director, Sports Power Infrastructure™. “The next generation of athletes will need more than exposure. They will need measurable differentiation, verified data, and positioning that creates opportunities both within and beyond sports.”

Top performing student-athletes may qualify for:

  • All-State: New York
  • All-State: New Jersey

Official honors and athlete recognition profiles will be published on AthletesMakeTheBest.com.

Athletes Make The Best™ is the media, staffing, and commerce company focused on helping athletes build visibility, opportunity, and long term success within and beyond sports.

Applications for the 2026 honors cycle are now open. Deadline: August 31. Official honors announced September 2026.
